Leadership

Pastor Glen Holman
With a heart for people and a passion for ministry, Dr. Glen Holman brings warmth, wisdom, and a deep sense of calling to every role he serves.
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Glen began his journey at the College of Wooster before stepping into the family construction business. But it wasn’t long before he felt the pull toward ministry, serving two small congregations in Ohio while discerning his path. That calling led him to Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts, where he earned his Master of Divinity.
Glen’s heart for care and connection found a home in hospital ministry. He completed a chaplain residency at Bethesda Hospitals in Cincinnati and went on to serve as the Protestant Staff Chaplain at Good Samaritan Hospital. It was during this time that he met Kim—his partner in life and ministry. Together, they’ve built a beautiful family with three children—Liz, Ben, and Kristen—and are now proud grandparents to Calum and Micah.
Glen’s pastoral journey took the family to Sterling, Kansas, where he led the Sterling United Presbyterian Church and served as part-time chaplain at the Sterling Presbyterian Manor. While there, he also earned his doctorate in pastoral counseling, deepening his commitment to holistic care.
He later served as pastor of First Presbyterian Church in Waynesboro and has been instrumental in cultivating Waynesboro Mission Church (now Hope Community Church), where his vision and leadership helped shape a vibrant new faith community. Today, Glen continues to serve as the Chaplaincy Program Coordinator at Augusta Health, where his compassion and presence make a daily impact.
When he’s not ministering, Glen loves hiking with Kim, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his growing family. His life is a testament to faithful service, joyful connection, and a deep love for God and others.
